The Level 3 qualification begins to introduce some of accounting’s more advanced practices. Those studying the Advanced Diploma can, therefore, expect a salary rise, more responsibility and a good foundation for the next AAT level (Professional Diploma in Accounting).

£18,563 was 2015’s average salary for a full-time accountant studying at Level 3. As well as being qualified for the Level 2 roles, students will also be able to confidently apply for the following positions:

  • Accounts Payable and Expenses Supervisor
  • Audit Trainee
  • Credit Controller
  • Financial Assistant
  • Payroll Supervisor
  • Practice Bookkeeper
